No pictures, nothing really fancy. Just a plan old food chopper.

On Monday night, I made taco for dinner, no biggie. I will just give my darling daughter beans and cheese with the shell. But I thought I'm going to try a little "Deceptively Delicious" thinking. For those of you unfamiliar with this.

I decieded to chop the hamburger meat to tiny pieces and put them in the beans!!!

And it worked!!!! She didn't even notice.

So tonight we are making burritos and I ask her to chop the hamburger meat.

Then I proceed to tell her about the tacos, the other night.

Mommy-"Sweetheart, do you remmeber those yummy tacos we had the other night"?

Tinky-"Yes Mommy, I really like them".

Mommy-"I mix the meat and beans together".

Tinky- "Are you telling me I ate meat in my taco"?

Mommy- "Yes, sweetheart I chopped it up and mix it in the beans".

Tinky- "Why didn't you tell me I was eating meat"?

Mommy- "Well, sweetheart it was something I thought you needed to try first".

Tinky-OH!!

For those of you that do not have the wonderful pleasure of knowing Tinky.

She's what we call a starcharian. Meaning- she only eats food that have starch in them.

For her this is a hugh leap for the tinky girls out there.

Chloe my Pomchi

Sun and Fun

A very dear friend invited the kids and I to a beach house that she was renting for a few months during the summer. We spent 2 wonderful days of fun and sun. When we got there we went for lunch a really neat restaurant. The Waiter bring out the kids meals on a Frisbee. What a great advertisement. And what a hit with the kiddos!!! After lunch we headed straight to the beach. JP just got a brand new surfboard, so off they were. Tinky wanted to boogie board and the Stinky boy was determined to learn how to surf. I must say not bad!!! The boys had no direction from us girls!!

Below are highlights of the our day of fun in the sun!!!

After the beach we had a small but crazy mishap, then went back to the house and had a mean steak and potatoes with corn-on-the-cob and a bottle of lovely red wine!!!

Then we were off to the drive-in movies!!!!

Note to self- must do this every-time!!!!

The movie was, not some much, but the thriller of the experience was totally AWESOME!!! Thanks soooooooooo much.

The next morning we headed to the local area farm/barn, where we had muffins and scones(yummy)!!! Then time to head home!!!

Baseball Party 2008

After a great Baseball Season the Pirates recieved thier trophys and "Certificate of Participation". The Coaches gave them thier awards at a pizza party.

Over all they did good more lose than wins but I'm a big believer in "at this age it's about having fun". And they really did have a great time. Father and son had a great bonding experience. Dad helped out quite a bit coaching first base. And his son really enjoyed having him as part of the team, instead of in the bleachers.

Trip to the Beach

We did our usual this past week-end and wentt for a family drive. Alot of our friends think we are just crazy 'cuz we just get in the car and go. But truth is we've been doing it since we've been a couple, for as long as I remember. And let me tell you that a long time. Do you ever think about 10 or so years ago? Had anyone said I'd be a stay at home mommy with two kids.

I'd said they were crazy. me I'm not the mommy type. I don't want to stay in one place I want to move around see things, places and people. I was a mover and a shaker!!! haha

Anybody that really knows me knows I'm right where I'm subpose to be.

Family Drive

We went for a drive looking for new places to camp in our in trailer, yesterday.

Since we started camping it has been a deep longing of mine to camp along the beach.

Our old trailer, our Cougar was not really meant for say "off roading".

See I'm NOT a "ruff-in-it kinda girl". I like my showers way too much. Don't miss understand I can throw my hair back in a pony with the rest of 'em. Make-up what that?

But I gotta HAVE my shower.

Anyways, our new trailer has bigger tanks and a generator.

Much like the comforts of home. Did I tell you all I gotta have my showers?

Do get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with tent camping. In fact I admire tent campers.

That's not easy stuff. With that being said did I tell you about my showers?

While driving along the beach we found some beautiful place to camp.

The weather was absolutely gorgeous. We found a wonderful place to eat called Joe's Crab Shack. We ate our food outside, where they had a playground for the kids.

Sorry I didn't take any picture. I was truly too busy enjoying my family. I runs too fast sometimes, I needed to leave the phone at home and play with my babies. We wanted to play on the beach but because of the fires the air quality was really bad. Unfortunately we could see the flames from the highway. It was very hard to explain to the children why the roads were closed and why people where being evacuated out of their homes. We also drove by a town still rebuilding after a landslide where many people lost their lives.

All of the things we saw yesterday beauty and not remind us how precious life is.

Fourth of July 2008

What a wonderful Fourth of July, we had!!!

I hope everyone had a great time with you and yours!!

We normally do a block party style party, but this year my nieghbor and decided since we do most of the planning we would host it. And what fun we had!!! We took down some of the fence panels between the yards, too have more of the one big yard feel. We gave out invitation(about 50). We had cupcake decorating for the kids, glow-in-the-dark braclets, and tattoos. We hired 2 Lifeguards, one for each pool. The food was a combination of everyones favorite "party dish". Which I must say is my ultimate favorite!!!! And of course I took over a 100 pictures. The cool thing is a couple of weeks ago I read about shutter speed. While guess what? That's what you use to take picture of any fast moving object, ie-FIREWORKS!!!

So this was my first shot.

A great night of entertainment
