Gold Rush Days

In 4th grade the children learn about California. And every year a man comes to the school and the children are taught how to mine for gold.

Science Project Part 2

After going to school and talking with other kids from the classroom and the teacher. Stinky Boy found out that the science fair project was not complete. The test had to be done 3 times for the different variance levels. Since dad had helped him the first time and was going to be working, mom stepped in to help.

This was the presentation board. Stinky Boy really wanted to make it to District. But we forgot 1 piece off the board. He ended up getting an A-. We couldn't be happier!!!

Science Project Part 1

Stinky boy is in 4th grade this year and that means Science Fair Project. He and his father decided to see which soda goes the highest with a tube Mentos. Lots of Boy fun!!! See part 2 to learn the results..............

La Permission Mission 4th Grade Field Trip

Last I left off I told you that I'd gotten a new camera. I got the camera on Monday and on Thursday 4Th grade had a field to La Permission Mission. I was so excited to final shoot a mission. I'd been looking forward to this day for quite sometime. It didn't turn out quite the way I'd planed but so the story goes.

It is going to be an exciting year. We have a very strick teacher and

class 2/3rds full of GATE students.

Last Day of School

Tomorrow is the last day of school once again.

Another year over and school year complete.

Just yesterday they were ponder whom their teachers would be and

what new friends they'd met. And in a flash it's over. It's truly bittersweet.

School Christmas Party

Wow what a weekend!!! Last Friday the kids had their class parties.

Stinky wore pj's and had donuts and hot coco. The kids all exchanged books.

Santa even came for a visit!!!

Tinky's classroom also did a book exchange. Her class watched movies and did crafts.

Back to School

Our beautiful babies are growing up so fast. It's amazing to me how fast it happened. Over night!!!

Tinky got Stinky's previous teacher and we are all blessed. Here's a photo of both kiddos and the teacher. Two years on a rowwe had Stinky's previous teacher and 2 years I have loved every minute getting to know these wonderful women that have touched our lives.

Carnival Fun

It's school carnival time again. This year I decieded to take the kid for a little fun first before they had to wait hours for all the moms to set up the fun and festivties. So one our brownie friends joined us for ICE CREAM at Mikey D's. Here's poor stinky boy, alone on the boy side.

Butterfly Fly Away

Little Miss had a class project that involed the lifecycle of butterflies.

When they were able to fly the class released them.
