Superbowl Sunday

We were invited to go down to Huntington Beach for a Superbowl/Birthday Party. My wonderful Husband decided we would take the coastal route down south. We passed the Queen Mary and stopped for a picture or two.

Thanksgiving- Our way...

One of our favorite thing to do as a family is to go camping!!! We have been wanting to go camping at the beach for Thanksgiving for the past 3 years. We get put on the waiting list every year. And this year was no different.

So instead we went to our second favorite spot!!!

The weather was gorgeous. The sun was shining. The wind was blowing, which meant the leaves where falling!!!! True Fall!!!

Granny and Grandad drove up for the day and joined us for the feast.

Renewal of Vows part 3

The next part of Straty's plan was for the guest to break dishes and for the happy couple to clean it up. Symbolizing that nothing could be broken in their home.

Renewal of Vows part 2

This day was planned with so much love and detail. The couple planned on being in Greece for their 10 year anniversary, but being 6 days away from delivering of their second child. The plans had to change.

Part of Straty's plan was to plant a tree for them to watch grow as their love for each other and their family has!

Renewal of Vows Straty Style...........

The kids Godfather had let me know quite some time ago that he was planning a surprise renewal of vows for his wife. The following day there was a baby shower planned.

The Godfather wanted me to be the decoy for the day, to get her out of the house.

Which is sooo not my style. But had a blast, too much fun actually.

Time to go home

This was on Sunday. We went for a walk in the park behind the "Godparents" parents backyard.

We headed to Huntington to walk around and got a call for the "GP's" who met us for a nice lunch. With no dogs allowed in a public eating place someone had to sit with the dog. And who else but the sweet stinky boy would offer to sit with the dog. The waitress brought him his food in a to go container.

Tinky girl fell asleep on the way home with her sunglasses on that would not take off.
