Superbowl Sunday

We were invited to go down to Huntington Beach for a Superbowl/Birthday Party. My wonderful Husband decided we would take the coastal route down south. We passed the Queen Mary and stopped for a picture or two.

Camping with BMX Friends

Another camping trip and fishing adventure with our BMX friends.
We lost 2 fishing poles and broke 1. We saw a mama deer and her baby. We took lots of pictures and had a blast!!!

One or dear friends has a place up in the mountains that we are able to go and get away every now and again. We have been taking this photo of the kids for more years than I can count.

Golden Handlebar Awards

First let me tell how blessed I am to have such great people in my life.

And these are two of them. In the BMX world there is a lot to learn. These two wonderful people took us "under their wing" and taught us a few things. The result was ......................... Grand National Champion!!!

We wanted them to have a little something to let them know we appreciated all of the time and their effort that they put into all of us.
We came up with the very first Golden Handlebar Awards.

Stinky boy wrote a speech/thank-you.

He did such a great reading it. I'm so proud of him.

Ever now and again God bring people in our lives to just love on us. No matter who we are what we do they are there just to love on us. Well this trip we were blessed to have people love us like we were there own family. They watch over us protected us and just plain loved us.

Thank-You to those Special People(whom I am glad to now call friends)

Just remember there are still good people out there, few and far between. but they are out there.

Sun and Fun

A very dear friend invited the kids and I to a beach house that she was renting for a few months during the summer. We spent 2 wonderful days of fun and sun. When we got there we went for lunch a really neat restaurant. The Waiter bring out the kids meals on a Frisbee. What a great advertisement. And what a hit with the kiddos!!! After lunch we headed straight to the beach. JP just got a brand new surfboard, so off they were. Tinky wanted to boogie board and the Stinky boy was determined to learn how to surf. I must say not bad!!! The boys had no direction from us girls!!

Below are highlights of the our day of fun in the sun!!!

After the beach we had a small but crazy mishap, then went back to the house and had a mean steak and potatoes with corn-on-the-cob and a bottle of lovely red wine!!!

Then we were off to the drive-in movies!!!!

Note to self- must do this every-time!!!!

The movie was, not some much, but the thriller of the experience was totally AWESOME!!! Thanks soooooooooo much.

The next morning we headed to the local area farm/barn, where we had muffins and scones(yummy)!!! Then time to head home!!!
